This is a fascinating account of “The Chartering Congress and First Annual Meeting” held in Washington, DC.

Roughly 100 participants from throughout the country attended this historic event.

Interestingly, in addition to structuring the new organization, Charter Members were compelled to create and to institute “The PSA Code of Ethics” which shows the organization’s commitment to good and fair business practices from the onset.

There is also mention that after the “Icebreaker Reception” on the Opening Night of the event, there was a “Bonus Clinic” held in which a “free exchange of ideas and profit-oriented discussions resulted.” The idea of our Roundtables literally began on Day One!
