Congratulations to This Year’s PSAI Scholarship Recipients!
We are thrilled to announce the recipients of this year’s PSAI scholarships, awarded to outstanding individuals connected to the portable sanitation industry. These scholarships are designed to support the educational pursuits of PSAI member employees, their children, or spouses who are continuing their education in college or vocational programs. This year, we celebrate five remarkable recipients who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to their education and communities.
Cassandra Cross – PolyJohn
Cassandra Cross, a freshman at the University of Mississippi, embodies the values of education, community, and dignity. Her insightful essay highlighted how the portable sanitation industry plays a crucial role during emergencies, such as the severe ice storm that hit her campus.
Cassandra wrote, “Seeing portable sanitation services used on my own campus changed my perspective... [they] support people not just logistically, but humanly—by ensuring dignity when it matters most.”
We are proud to support Cassandra as she pursues her education with purpose.
Morgan Brown – FusionSite Services
Morgan Brown's dedication to hard work and community service shone through in her application. Having grown up in the portable sanitation industry, she has developed a strong work ethic and community spirit.
Morgan shared, “I started my own organization called Two Helping Four, donating supplies to no-kill animal shelters across Iowa and the Midwest.”
As Morgan works towards her goal of becoming a large animal veterinarian, we are honored to assist her in realizing her dreams.
Adriene Dyer – Honey Bucket
Adriene Dyer’s passion for education and philosophy is truly inspiring. She eloquently described her journey as a lifelong learner, stating, “Learning made me want to be part of a community in which knowledge is celebrated.”
Adriene’s commitment to fostering community and dignity through education is commendable, and we are excited to support her as she continues her studies at Ursinus College.

McKenna Knott – Inland North Waste
McKenna Knott’s involvement in agriculture and education is exemplary. Through her essay, she shared, “Education and community are deeply connected... as an educator, I want to create an environment where students feel valued and capable.”
As she pursues a degree in Animal Science and Agriculture Education with aspirations to become a teacher, McKenna is a shining example of leadership and service in her community.
Sophia Wilson – J&J Portable Sanitation Products
Sophia Wilson’s aspiration to become a school-based speech therapist exemplifies her commitment to education and community.
She expressed, “I want to work with children... to help them develop the skills they need to express themselves confidently.”
Sophia’s dedication to fostering dignity and support in education aligns perfectly with the values of the PSAI, and we are delighted to support her educational journey.
We are incredibly proud of these talented individuals and their connection to the portable sanitation industry. Their achievements and aspirations reflect the core values of education, community, and dignity that the PSAI Scholarship Program seeks to promote.
Congratulations again to Cassandra, Morgan, Adriene, McKenna, and Sophia on their well-deserved scholarships. We look forward to seeing the positive impact they will continue to make in their communities and beyond!
